has anyone travelled by Air India #112: newark to bombay?
Air India #112 has a 2hr stop at Heathrow. Do I need UK transit visa to travel from US to India. There is no plane change.

I have stayed in US for more than 6 months
According to what you posted, you will be fine as long as you had a visa to be in the US.
