When is the best time to buy your air fare?

I plan on going to Las Vegas the last week of April and have been checking the prices online for airfare but they seem to me to be staying about the same, I was wondering is it cheaper to wait and buy my tickets the closer it gets to my vacation. I usually buy through Alaska Airlines.

Buy them as soon as possible. The fares for flights always go higher as the flight nears. Even if those sale fare you’re seeing aren’t taken by the time the flight leaves, they are only on sale for a certain amount of time and then you cannot purchase them anymore.

I’d try other carriers to see if you can find a better deal someplace else. But they would be the same as far as their prices going up the closer it gets to the flight date.

2: Qatar Airways fares are competitive but you can check with Malaysia Airline and Thai Airways for their prices too.

3: What you wear in Malaysia for Friday prayers will suffice in Qatar.

4: Price of a meal at a streetside restaurant will be higher than in KL…about RM 8 per person, being the lowest in Qatar.

5: Car rentals are not available and heavily booked unless you arrange well in advance. 2 Bedroom apartment is about RM7500 per month, minimum.
